The aim of this work is to contribute to the determination of the controlled muscle parameter in limb movement. For this purpose a new descriptive model is conceived based on the significance of the third time derivative of muscle length.
With this model static as well as dynamic cases can be described and salient muscle properties are included. Adaptation and pre-programming are part of the model. Indications as to diagnostic value are obtained by measurements in patients.
