Résumé anglais : We conclude that the activation of receptors in the muscles and/or joints of the cervical region exerts an inhibitory effect on the motoneurons of the soleus muscle, consenting a parallel to be drawn between the effects described and postural neck reflexes involving hind limb motoneurons. Possible cervical postural control mechanisms are discussed.
