Résumé anglais : We report on an experimental method to investigate command channels for upper limb neural prostheses which restore grasp by electrical stimulation of forearm muscles. We have developed a hardware simulator where potential command channels on able-bodied and SCI subjects are instrumented. The subjects control those channels to perform simulated tasks by manipulating animated hands appearing on a computer graphics display.
