In this contribution a flexible bedding system for infantile cerebral palsy patients is presented. Contrary to the conventional rigid seat shells with fixation belts which force the child to rmain in a static position the flexible shell permits spasmolytic compensation movement which leads to a reduction of pains.
The shell is made of fabric and manufacturated on the base of a plaster model. The fabric shell is combined with an individual metallic support system which is equipped with four whells. This basic vehicle is described at the end of the article.
