Despite previous reports of high complication rates for limited arthrodesis procedures in the wrist, degenerative or inflammatory arthritis found isolated to the radiocarpal articulation presents the surgical option for a radioscapholunate arthrodesis to preserve some wrist motion. The purpose of this article is to review the kinematics, technique, and results of radioscapholunate arthrodesis.
